Switching Crypto Assets to Search

Click on the button left to the search field to make a drop down menu appear to select a different Crypto asset.
The drop down menu will contain the Crypto assets available to search with Atlas. Please note an orange icon to the right side of the Crypto asset may appear, which will indicate the particular Crypto asset is experimental/to use with caution.

Searching Blocks

To search a block, select the wanted Crypto asset and enter the block hash. Press the enter/return keyboard button or click the Search button to bring back results.
On the Search Results page the first return will be the given Block searched for and the results afterwards are Transactions applicable to that Block. Clicking on the Block will bring you to the Block Detail page. The results can also be downloaded for review by clicking the Download button to the right side of the screen from Search Results.
The Block Detail page is going to contain summary metrics attributed to the Block as well as all the Transactions applicable to the Block
  • On the top position of the page there are summary metrics attributed to the associated Crypto Asset. The USD value of Ethereum will dynamically update in real-time.
  • On the bottom portion of the page will display the Block Transactions for the given Block. These will show high-level information like the amount of Crypto Asset for the given transaction. For further detailed information clicking the Transaction Hash hyperlink will bring you to the Transactions Details page. To download all the transactions for the block, click the Download button.
  • The block height details show the applicable block number of the Crypto Asset as well as the creation time. The Parent Block can be navigated to by clicking the down arrow icon. The Child Block can be navigated to by clicking the up arrow icon. The Chain Tip can be navigated to by clicking the endpoint icon.

Searching Addresses

To search an address, select the wanted Crypto Asset and enter the Address. Press the enter/return keyboard button or click the Search button to bring back results.
The search will bring back the Address if the Address exists. High level information such as the current balance will be displayed amongst other data points. To get further details on the Address, click on the result to go to the Address Details page.
The Address Details page will display summary metrics for the address, balance updates, and a balance overtime graph.
  • The summary metrics for the address includes data such as the current balance, time of creation, and last time a transaction took place. The USD amount displayed is updated in real-time.
  • The Balance Updates are going to show all the Transactions that have occurred with the Address. This section is essentially the book of record for the Address. Displaying information attributed to each transaction, like showing if the transaction is a credit/debit plus the resulting new balance of the address. All the Transactions of the Address can also be downloaded into a csv file by clicking the Download button. For further information on the Transaction click on the Transaction Hash hyperlink which will bring you to the Transaction Details page.
  • The Balance Overtime is a graph depicting the amount of the Crypto Asset on the left side and the amount of the crypto asset versus USD on the right side. The blue line indicates the Crypto asset balance and the orange line indicates the amount of the crypto asset versus USD.
  • To see specific daily attributes, hover over the graph.
  • For navigation within the graph you can do the below with the icons highlighted in the red section.
    • Zoom to a specific time range with the Magnifying Glass icon
    • Zoom in with the + icon
    • Zoom out with the - icon
    • To navigate left or right while zoomed in click the Pan/Four Direction icon
    • To restore the original scaling, click the autoscale button

Searching Transactions

To search a Transaction, select the wanted Crypto asset and enter the transaction hash. Press the enter/return keyboard button or click the Search button to bring back results.
On the Search Results page the Transaction will appear if the transaction hash exists. Clicking on the Transaction will bring you to the Transactions Detail page. The results can also be downloaded for review by clicking the Download button to the right side of the screen from Search Results.
The Transaction Details page is going to display summary metrics, balance updates, and block height details.
  • The summary metrics for the transaction includes data such as the balance transacted, block details, and the time the transaction took place. The USD amount displayed is updated in real-time. For further details on the transaction Block or its Parent, click on the Block Hash hyperlink which will bring you to the Block Details page.
  • The Balance Updates are going to show all the debits/credits that have occurred with the given Transaction between addresses as well as a fee breakdown. All the debits/credits and fees of the Transaction can be downloaded into a csv file by clicking the Download button. For further information on the Addresses click on the Address Hash hyperlink which will bring you to the Address Details page.
  • The block height details show the applicable block of the Crypto Asset the Transaction was in, plus block details like fees and size. The Parent Block can be navigated to by clicking the down arrow icon. The Child Block can be navigated to by clicking the up arrow icon. The Chain Tip can be navigated to by clicking the endpoint icon.
